# Logging of deeplearning4J

I try to stop logging using deeplearningFor4J creating a logback.xml file:   
  
  
%d{yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss} %-5level %logger{36} - %msg%n

```
<logger name="org.deeplearning4j.nn.multilayer.MultiLayerNetwork" level="INFO" additivity="false">
    <appender-ref ref="STDOUT" />
</logger>

<root level="INFO">
    <appender-ref ref="STDOUT" />
</root>

```

But no way i have always the Trace output. How can i do?

@galera look up how to redirect logback using slf4j. Could you clarify though? We shouldn’t include logback by default in the actuall library code just slf4j.
